COVID HEALTH/SAFETY POLICIES FOR THE WEEKEND

OF 5/14-5/16

We will attempt to do “block scheduling” whenever possible to limit movement/waiting of teams and spectators!

All attending should do a self health assessment and not attend if ANY symptoms of COVID-19 exist

Everyone will get a no touch temperature check upon entering.  Temps over 100.3 will not be permitted to enter

Social distancing should be maintained both inside the building & outside the building

Each Player is permitted to have a maximum of 4 spectators attending their games this weekend!

Spectators MUST wear a face covering OVER THEIR MOUTH AND NOSE at all times inside the bldg.                                                                                               NO TOLERANCE POLICY ON FACEMASKS-you will be asked to leave if you are seen not wearing it-NO WARNINGS OR REFUNDS!                                                         Failure to follow this rule can lead to other consequences which may include the removal of your team from the tournament!

Coaches, players & referees should wear masks upon entering/exiting the building but can remove them once they get to their court for their game

No outside food/beverage of any kind is permitted to be brought into the facility by spectators

Teams will be permitted to enter the facility 30 minutes before game time-NO EARLIER

No team meetings on courts after the games– teams need to exit the bench areas immediately after their game

Spectators need to leave the gym immediately after their game to enable the fans of the next game to enter and maintain social distancing-PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE!  You may want to bring a lawn chair for outside when your teams are not playing a game as gyms will be emptied after games !

No sharing of water bottles - THERE ARE NO USABLE WATER FOUNTAINS IN THE FACILITY

Please keep contact to a minimum-no high fives, handshakes or lineups after the game

Teams must bring their own warmup basketballs

Team benches, courts and seating etc. will be sanitized throughout the day

Hand sanitizer stations will be available for your use throughout the building

VAC will supply a scorer and timer for all games and no teams will be permitted to have anyone at the scoretables

VAC staff will wear facemasks while inside the facility,  including scorekeepers and site supervisors
